One Friday a month, I spend my morning working in this cutie’s class. I’m usually the art parent – a role I like as I’m cool with art and I don’t really love going outside like the block parent does. I also feel that the snack parent literally has to keep a few kids alive (severe food allergies) and so if I haven’t adequately coffee-d before school, I don’t know if I’m trustworthy enough.
Today we painted with feathers, did dot art, used oil pastels, and had a free art station (stickers, markers, and such). Art was a super busy station and we made hundreds of artwork pieces. It’s really sweet – the kids are adorable and so much fun. I’m thankful I get to spend time soaking in these moments with my favorite girl.
